On time or Late...

It's kind of funny that I am adding my two cents on this topic.  Let me explain:

While working in corporate america for many years I was one of the most efficient employees ever if not the top five most efficient.  However my biggest challenge was being late.  If you ever get a chance to speak with any of my former co-workers they will tell you. I was late to and from work. I was late to and from lunch. I was late calling out of work if I even decided to call out of work which at the time when I learned what the term "No call. No show" meant. Although young I also realized the same thing was true for me when going to church, to school, and meetings.  I was even late to receive my degree from college.

My Oprah aha moment was later on in life.  I was early going to movies.  I was early to meet up with friends to play basketball.  I was early to seminars and conferences to learn. It began to come really obvious that my arrival time was determined on things that I enjoyed the most.

In summary, look at your life and pay close attention to the things that you attend and you arrive late. Look at your life and pay close attention to the things that you arrive early. Look at your life and pay close attention to the things that you arrive on time.  What I have learned about myself is that the things that I enjoyed doing the most I would arrive early and the things that I enjoyed least I would arrive late if I even arrived.  My life and rise to become has taught me that when it comes to living a good life and finding your passion their is only two options.  You are either on time or you are late. The more you love something the more you will find that to be early is to be on time
